Master Bathroom Shower and Vanity
This master bathroom underwent a dramatic transformation, replacing a dated tile-decked tub and heavy framed shower glass with a sleek, spa-like retreat. The old tub and shower were removed to make way for a large, zero-entry, curbless walk-in shower, creating a seamless and accessible design. At the far end of the shower, a custom wooden bench adds warmth and functionality, while a waterfall-edge quartz countertop beside the bench enhances the visual flow.
The standout material throughout is a polished, large-format Calacatta-look tile in a soft light gray tone. Installed floor-to-ceiling with rectified edges and low-contrast grout, the tile delivers a seamless, high-end finish that elevates the entire space. A custom five-compartment niche offers built-in storage that blends beautifully with the tilework.
To unify the design, the same Calacatta quartz used on the countertops continues into the deep window sill, doubling as a practical shelf with a clean, tailored appearance. On the floors, Calacatta-inspired mosaics in both the main bathroom and shower area complement the wall tile while introducing subtle variation and texture.
Finishing the space are matte black fixtures, including a rainhead, showerhead, and handheld wand. These provide a striking contrast against the lighter tones and add a touch of modern sophistication. The result is a luxurious and cohesive bathroom where every detail has been thoughtfully reimagined. The before-and-after difference is striking, offering both beauty and function in equal measure.
