This attic was dark, unfinished space. We completely renovated it into a livable room.
We laid a beautiful dark vinyl floor throughout. Along one wall, we built cabinets for storage, with sink access and room to house a mini fridge and microwave. Their teal finish adds a pop of color to what used to be a dark attic.
Along the exterior wall, we built a custom bench and shelving centered on a window. It lets natural light flood the room and highlights the simple beauty of the space.
We also built out a large adjoining closet.
It's a good example of how much usable living space can already be sitting right above your ceiling.
